December, the month of festivities and the arrival of winter,

has so much to offer, with its plays of light and shadows of warm reflections and lightness. And these words seem to perfectly describe even the wedding of Francesca and Antonio, two Tuscan spouses who have chosen this very particular month for their “yes, I do”.

Between Florence and Prato, a wedding full of extraordinary lights

We encountered so many locations in this wedding: starting from the cathedral of Prato, an imposing early Gothic basilica which, with its marbles, capturing flashes and reflections. Until the arrival, for lunch, in the nearby - and mythical - Florence: in particular, the location chosen was the historic and magnificent Hotel Hermitage, a historic outpost of elegance and hospitality just a stone's throw from one of the key places in the city of Giglio, Ponte Vecchio, true Florentine heart that surprised both Francesca and Antonio, and us, professional photographers, with a wonderful sunny day that revealed a beautiful light, capable of further enhancing the simple, loving and fairy tale atmosphere of this wedding, surprising also for the fact that we could walk and shoot, among the almost empty bridges, among the flashes of lights, shadows and reflections born from the games of the sun and water.

Between city and countryside: the Tuscan setting for this wedding

It almost seems as if the approaching winter wanted to give a great gift to these newlyweds. A magnificent weather that continued even the following day, when a lunch was held, this time more bucolic, immersed in the countryside and completely special because it was dedicated to old and new friends, in Cantinetta di Rignana, immersed in a rustic, informal but always elegant setting.

The character of a choice like that of getting married in winter, rewarded by clear days and enchanted atmospheres, among the greatest jewels that the land of Tuscany can give: its cities, its rivers, its countryside, tradition and class, as the frame of a new great love that we have had the privilege of stopping in time.
